Submitted on 9/12/2018 Review title of takeOUTTH3sunBF1 on XboxPS4 ?I paid $9 USD for this. Honestly feel this game is overly criticized, when all it's trying to be (and it succeeds) is a brutal WW1 shooter.
Yet people cry and complain over issues that are non-existent. I played this at launch and man am I glad to see the servers thriving on Xbox (unlike PS4). It's much smoother/faster than I expected too and all the added maps are very much appreciated. Tons of value and very easy to play. Submitted on 2/13/2018 Review title of PhantomBlckGoatEasy 4.5 out of 5I've played the BF series since Bad Company 2 and I can say this is a fantastic game and a welcome change of pace from the sci-fi shooters that are currently watering down the genre. That being said it does have its problems, weapons like the Helriegel are overused because of how horrendously overpowered they are, likewise heavy tanks have the same range and damage as artillery trucks so most games are full of them since nobody bothers using anything else. I've also noticed a fair amount of players fail to use their classes correctly (i.e.

Medics not reviving/healing, Supports not giving ammo, Assaults spamming AT rockets, and Scouts camping in spawn & not playing objectives), although I really can't blame the game for other players' stupidity. Matchmaking could use work, often putting you in half-finished games with unbalanced teams where the score is already completely out of reach. However, it is still an overall enjoyable game especially when playing with friends. Submitted on Review title of xSpartan42xBF 1 BF 5, wish the singleplayer was a little betterBattlefield always had a historical accurate theme in the series and it shows with BF 1942, BF 1943, BF BDCO 2 VIETNAM, and of course Battlefield 1, the weapon sandbox is impressive just about all the weapons in the game are real and seen combat granted yes there are prototype guns but they were developed during the war and meant for the war so they don't feel out of place. BF 5 as seen in dev tweets is all about virtue signaling by putting female troops in the front lines and being politically correct which ruins the emerson and relying on fanboys and normies to keep it afloat.
BF 1 did it much more properly by adding female soldiers in the Russian army which is completely historically accurate why DICE didn't take the authentic rout in BF 5 nobody knows. BF 1 perfectly balances out a historical accurate theme while maintaining fun gameplay, BF 5 did no such thing and completely divided the player base all I can do is hope battlefield returns to its roots when being based on real wars.
Submitted on 3/18/2018 Review title of Sythic006This game used to be great. Until about the Tsar updateThen their servers became the dirty side of my early morning toilet paper. No more can I happily hop on and expect a clean, fair game of sniping losers with their hellreigels.
Instead, if I truly want a game that is smooth and enjoyable i have to swim through their muddy labyrinth of servers. I, like many others, suffer from a chronic state of extremely severe packet loss. This sickening condition comes and goes depending on the server, and despite logic, does not reflect peak server activity (12 noon to 8 pm). This causes my shots to continually miss, for movement to be severely handicapped or immobilized, and of course makes me an easy kill in 1v1 scenarios. When I try to open a ticket with EA, I cannot proceed past the 'select product' phase, further representing this company's disgusting abuse of their clients. I used to have consistently strong experiences with this game and company, but their persisting greed continues to squander any remaining feelings I had from a time gone.
